BOYS BASKETBALL

St. Bede 63, Serena 50: Carson Riva poured in 26 points Saturday to lead the Bruins to a nonconference victory in Peru.

Kaden Nauman added 11 points for St. Bede.

Princeton 60, Rock Falls 52: Noah LaPorte scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to help the Tigers to a victory at the Rock Falls Shootout.

Jordan Reinhardt had 15 points for Princeton (6-8), while Asa Gartin added 10 points.

Bureau Valley 64, Oregon 62 (OT): The Storm pulled out a win in extra time at the Rock Falls Shootout.

Wethersfield 60, DePue 26: The Little Giants lost a nonconference game in Kewanee.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Serena 57, St. Bede 54 (OT): Lili McClain scored 16 points as the Bruins came up short in a nonconference game in Peru.

Ashlyn Ehm contributed 15 points for St. Bede.

Riverdale 54, Princeton 43: The Tigresses lost a Three Rivers Conference crossover in Port Byron.

WRESTLING

At Kewanee: Mendota went 2-1 in a quadrangular, beating Putnam County-Hall (36-30) and Somonauk (29-15) and losing to Kewanee (58-11).

Gavin Evans (165/157 pounds) recorded three wins via fall for the Trojans, while Koman Denault (138/132) won by fall against PC-Hall and by technical fall against Somonauk and Gavin Stevenson (120) won by technical fall against Kewanee.

PC-Hall’s Cayden Bouxsein (150) and Alex Tucker (190) each won by pin against Mendota.
