BOYS SWIMMING

La Salle-Peru co-op 53, Peoria Notre Dame 40: Jonathan Neu and Brian Lowery each won a pair of individual events and swam on a winning relay Thursday to help the Cavaliers to a victory in La Salle.

Neu won the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.76) and the 100 freestyle (50.63), while Lowery won the 100 butterfly (59.56) and the 100 breaststroke (1:14.02).

Neu and Lowery swam with Bo Weitl and Tucker Ditchfield to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:40.08.

Ditchfield also won the 500 freestyle (5:28.2), while Caleb Strand won the 50 freestyle (24.98).

MEN’S BASKETBALL

IVCC 83, Olive Harvey 63: Roderick Watson-Pearcy scored 20 points to lead the Eagles to a victory in Oglesby.

Hunter Staton scored 18 points for IVCC (7-11), while Kahmr Dailey had 14 points. Q’amar Hobbs added 13.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Princeton 60, Erie-Prophetstown 26: Camryn Driscoll had 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals as the Tigresses cruised to a Three Rivers Conference East Division victory in Princeton.

Keighley Davis scored 15 points to go with three steals and two assists for Princeton, while Paige Jesse added 12 points, five rebounds, two steals and two assists.

Seneca 40, Putnam County 31: The Panthers led going to the fourth quarter but couldn’t hang on in a Tri-County Conference loss in Seneca.

Maggie Spratt scored a game-high 17 points.

Kewanee 53, Mendota 28: Kennedy Knaff had 10 points, nine rebounds, two steals and a block as the Trojans lost a Three Rivers Conference East Division game in Mendota.

Marquette 57, Henry-Senachwine 27: Kaitlyn Anderson had 15 points, five rebounds and three steals as the Mallards lost a Tri-County Conference game in Henry.

Brynna Anderson added six points and two rebounds for Henry.

Indian Creek 59, Earlville 34: Natalie Hall scored 15 points as the Red Raiders lost a Little Ten Conference game in Shabbona.

Jacey Helgesen contributed six points, five rebounds and two assists for Earlville.

Brimfield 58, Bureau Valley 49: The Storm outscored the Indians in the final three quarters but couldn’t overcome an 18-5 first quarter in a Lincoln Trail Conference loss in Brimfield.

Libby Endress had 11 points for BV, while Emily Wright added 10.

BOYS BOWLING

La Salle-Peru 3,495, Mendota 3,204: The Cavaliers finished the regular season with a nonconference victory at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl in Peru.

St. Bede 2,866, Erie-Prophetstown 2,865: Haiden Ator bowled a 571 series as the Bruins edged the Panthers by a pin at Triple Play Lanes in Fulton.

Abe Wiesbrock rolled a 567 series for the Bruins, while Devin Steil added a 516.

GIRLS BOWLING

La Salle-Peru 3,383, Mendota 2,288: Kamryn Oscepinski rolled a 620 series to lead the Cavaliers to a nonconference victory at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl in Peru.

Camryn Perra bowled a 612 series for L-P, while Anna Ricci added a 586 series.

St. Bede 2,193, Erie-Prophetstown 2,135: Maddy Fabish rolled a 572 series as the Bruins earned a victory at Triple Play Lanes in Fulton.

Eden Galvan added a 399 series for St. Bede.

WRESTLING

At Amboy: Mendota split a pair of duals, edging Amboy 36-35 and losing to Genoa-Kingston 53-30.

Corbin Furar (175 pounds), Angil Serrano (285) and Gavin Evans (157) each recorded a fall for the Trojans.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Highland 87, IVCC 33: The Eagles lost an Arrowhead Conference game in Freeport.
