St. Bede 75, Putnam County 59: The Bruins tuned up for the Tri-County Conference tournament with a conference win at RM Germano Gymnasium on Friday in Granville.
Gino Ferrari led the Bruins with 28 points and Halden Hueneburg chipped in 16.
The No. 7 Bruins and No. 10 Panthers will open TCC Tournament play at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Academy.
Bureau Valley 82, West Central 34: Landon Hulsing scored 26 points, including his 1,000th career point, to lead the Storm to a runaway Lincoln Trail Conference victory at the Storm Cellar Friday night.
Elijah Endress added 17 points for the Storm, who jumped out to a 54-20 halftime lead.
El Paso-Gridley 58, Fieldcrest 56: The No. 2 seeded Comets outlasted the No. 3 Knights in the HOIC/McLean County Tournament semifinals at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
Eli Gerdes led the Knights with 19 points, Kash Klendworth had 16 points and Jordan Heider 12.
The Knights will play No. 5 Lexington for third place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the EPG Centennial Gym.
EPG moves on to the championship game to play No. 1 Tri Valley at 8 p.m. Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Newark 53, Earlville 47: Natalie Hall led the Raiders with 14 points and 10 rebounds, Bailey Miller had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Audrey Scherer had 10 points.
Wrestling
At Orion: St. Bede has five wrestlers - Michael Benge (113), Max Moreno (126), Garrett Connelly (190), William Sramek (215) and Grady Gillan (285) - going for gold and two wrestlers - Jordan Coventry (157) and Jack Maschmann (175) - going for bronze in Saturday’s finals of the Orion Bob Mitton Invitational.
The Bruins are ranked 15th out of 24 teams.
