22 Ottawa High School students receive Illinois State Scholars honors

Ottawa High School had 22 students named Illinois State Scholars.

They were Kyler Araujo, Cole Bruemmer, Gabrielle Cooper, Seth Cooper, Ayla Dorsey, Skylar Dorsey, Molly Ewen, Aidan Hardee, Logan Hennick, Steven Hladovcak, Kyle Hobbs, Andrea Kerestes, Madeline Kerestes, Christopher Koppers, Jonathan McCoy, Lily Mustered, Landon Sawin, Rodolfo School, Evan Snook, Jack Stanek, Aric Threadgill and Madison Towne.

The State Scholar Program publicly and personally identifies graduating high school seniors who possess superior academic potential. Students from nearly every high school in Illinois compete in the program. State Scholars can be found on the campuses of nearly 200 public and private institutions of higher education in Illinois. The combination of students' exemplary college entrance examination scores and record high school achievement indicate a high potential for success in college.
