The Neponset cannon was re-dedicated by Neponset-Sheffield American Post #875 members. The Neponset cannon, which was captured during the Civil War, was rededicated by members of the Neponset-Sheffield American Post 875 during a Memorial Day service on May 29.

Those in attendance included Gary Baze, Bill Scott, Jon Pickering, Mike Yacklich, Justin Stabler, Post Commander Rodney Bennett, Neponset Mayor Dave Mueller, Dave Behrens and Post historian Dick Wells.
