Illinois State Police Troop 2 announced the results of specialty patrols conducted in La Salle and Rock Island counties in June.

Three roadside safety checks, including one June 23-24 on U.S. 6 and Dalzell Road, resulted in 33 citations and 36 written warnings. Nighttime enforcement patrols resulted in 37 citations and 18 written warnings. Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement patrols resulted in 54 citations and 29 written warnings. Distracted driving patrols resulted in 66 citations and 19 written warnings. Occupant restraint enforcement patrols resulted in 167 citations and 45 written warnings.
