Area events postponed/canceled today due to the heat

Some area events have been postponed or canceled today due to the heat, including:

The Hall boys golf meet at Sterling has been postponed to Sept. 22.

The Marquette at Putnam County golf meet has been canceled.

Princeton’s boys golf (at Port Byron), boys soccer (vs. L-P) and girls tennis (at L-P) contests have all been canceled today.

St. Bede has moved its home volleyball match with El Paso-Gridley to IVCC to play in the air-conditioned gym.
