With the high school girls soccer season getting underway this week, here is a look at the 2025 season for the Ottawa Pirates, the Streator Bulldogs, and the Hinckley-Big Rock co-op Royals.

Josie Goerne, the 2024 Times Girls Soccer Player of the Year, has signed to continue her education and women's soccer career at Illinois Valley Community College.

Streator girls soccer sweeper Josie Goerne was named the Bulldogs’ team MVP, first-team Illinois Central Eight All-Conference and Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Section and, now, the 2024 Times Girls Soccer Player of the Year.
