An Ottawa woman who injured a baby that was not her own was sentenced Thursday to 30 months probation but also ordered to serve three months in jail.

After 28 years of service to the Ottawa Police Department, Police Chief Brent Roalson retired Wednesday, signing off one last time, giving a thumbs up and exiting his car to an applause from family and friends.
