Ralph Walter retires from First Federal Savings Bank board

Bank donates $5,000 in his honor to La Salle County 4-H and Junior Fair Association

After 45 years of service, First Federal Savings Bank announced the retirement of Director Ralph C. Walter, of Grand Ridge.

Joining the board in January of 1977, Walter has helped guide the bank through many changes, with the goal of ensuring community banks continue to be relevant and valued.

“On behalf of our board and management team, we would like to thank Ralph for his outstanding service to the bank, his knowledge, wisdom and bank board experience will certainly be missed,” said CEO and President Konni Rodeghier.

The Board accepted Walter’s retirement and expressed wishes he have many healthy and happy years of retirement, and as a statement of gratitude for Walter’s service, it made a $5,000 charitable contribution to La Salle County 4-H and Junior Fair Association, a favorite of Walter’s.
