This is the fifth year for the Poco a Poco festival, held the second week of June in Streator. It is founded and organized by Streator native and professional singer Kate Tombaugh. It provides a week of intensive and interactive vocal music training to students who have completed junior high through those who have just graduated high school. The goal is to instill a lifelong love for music and the arts.
