Illinois Valley Quilters Guild donates quilts to mothers at OSF St. Elizabeth

The Illinois Valley Quilters Guild donated 17 handmade baby quilts to Ottawa’s OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center’s maternity ward in December.

“We were made aware that some mothers and their newborn babies leave the hospital with very little,” said Beth Findley-Smith. “The least we could do was to ensure that moms and babies feel warm and loved with a handmade quilt.”
