Seneca High students of the month for January 2022

5 students honored

The following students were selected by the Seneca High School teachers and staff as the January 2022 students of the month.

January 2022 Student of the Month: Case Biros. Biros is the son of Scott and Tiffany Biros, of Marseilles. He plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to major in nuclear engineering. He is active in FFA, WYSE/ACES, math team, scholastic bowl, Young Philanthropy and robotics club.

January 2022 Role Model of the Month: Noah Quigley. Quigley is the son of Anthony and Molly Quigley, of Seneca. He plans to attend Joliet Junior College and go on to a four-year school, where his major is undecided. He is active in golf, basketball, baseball, FFA and TSA.

January 2022 Role Model of the Month: Owen Quigley. Owen Quigley is the son of Molly and Anthony Quigley of Seneca. He plans to attend Joliet Junior College to study business and then transfer to a four-year school to get a bachelor’s degree. He has been active for four ears in golf and basketball. He also is active in baseball as well as a FFA Chapter Officer and senior class vice president.

January 2022 Most Improved Student of the Month: Ryan Starwalt. Starwalt is the son of Melissa and Patrick Starwalt of Mazon. Ryan’s plan after high school is go for two years at Joliet Junior College for an associate’s degree; transfer to a four-year school for a bachelor’s in a horror-fictional writing career. He is active in the speech team.

January 2022 Rookie of the Month: Payton McDonald. McDonald is the son of Carrie and Mark McDonald of Seneca. He plans to go to college at University of Illinois and major in finance. He eventually wants to get a job as a financial manager. He is active in scholastic bowl, math team, TRUST, Spanish Club, robotics and TSA.
